We called Grandpa Jay and Grandma Liz on the way home from the party. They were very excited!

Ritterb's reaction:

Kiera screamed " Are you kidding me!" and cried
Jordie read the sign "Ferguson baby #5 coming Nov 2009" as coming Nov 29 just like Madi- Neither one got it right away :)
When kiera explained that aunt Carol was going to have a baby Ammon asked "In her tummny?"
And Isaac stated "But her tummy wasn't fat when we were there!"

All-in-all everyone is so excited for #5!

Happy Birthday Grandma Janice!

Today for Grandma Janice's birthday, my parents took us to lunch and had us open a present for Grandma Janice, because she couldn't...

Its a picture of Mary and baby Jesus that always reminded my mom of Grandma Janice, with a little sign in the corner.

So we are telling all of my moms family and Grandma Gloria and Grandpa Ike tonight so keep the secret until later tonght! We are now on a quest for names. The hard part will be getting 6 people to agree on anything!!!! Boy names are the hardest. We are taking suggestions!

YILMFA

We have a bit of a jokester running around our house. It seems that everytime I turn around, the FAMILY letters above our TV spell out another crazy word. There is a metaphore in all of this....We may be a crazy, mixed up family....but we are still a family none the less.

Any way you spell it we are still a YILMFA...FAMILY!

A Happy Birthday....Before and After

This is my kitchen towel drawer.......BEFORE

(all mis-matched, all very worn,very used and all very ugly.)

I was contemplating getting married again just so I could get some
new dish towels. Shawn is very grateful for the birthday
gift from Kiera and Grandma.

AFTER

I have never had a whole set of matching and coordinating

dish towels. It is interesting how the things that excite us change

over the years... But don't they look lovely?

We had a fun family dinner Saturday night to celebrate both our birthdays.
Grandma made her famous chocolate cake. Grandma and Grandpa and Kiera and Marc gave us a GPS for our birthdays... they were on the same wavelength as we were. We almost gave one to eachother. Thanks!! It really is just what we wanted.
