Summon your eagle powers!

Our Eagle

Last night TJ, Tyler, and 6 other boys from our old ward got their eagle scout awards! It was a very exciting evening and we are all so proud of these boys!

This night was doubly special for TJ. He recieved his life scout award that he earned over a year ago as well as his Eagle Scout award.

TJ presented Grandma an Eagle necklace and Grandpa with an eagle tie-tack, to thank them for all of their help and support with his Eagle Project.

TJ awarded his mentor pin to Brother Deray Young. The greatest scoutmaster ever. He was so patient and diligent with Taylor. Taylor wasn't even a tenderfoot when he join Deray's troop. By the time he left he was a life! Way to go Deray! Thanks.

A live eagle... how cool is that. Her name was Liberty. She is 22 and has been in captivity for 18 years since she was electrocuted (by touching both wings to two powerlines.) She was awesome!

How lucky to have 3 out of 4 grandma's there to support TJ on his big night. Thanks to all the aunts, uncles, cousins, granparents and friends for coming and showing thier love and support to TJ.
Grandpa Jay awarded the boys their Silver Eagle. TJ has been looking forward to this for a long time.

Taylor thanks for setting such a good example to Stevie. He looks up to you in every way. You are a great brother and son and we are so proud of you.

Madi wanted a picture with the Man of the hour. She loves her big brother and couldn't be prouder.

Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas from the Fergusons! That is what our Christmas letter would have said if they had been mailed on time, if they had been mailed at all. But such is my life. If I can't send a christmas letter to all of our friends and loved ones, I can at least post a Christmas blog a month late.

We had a wonderful holiday season. Two weeks with the Ritterb's was cause for celebration.
Some of the highlights were:

A visit from Santa. Strangely enough his voice sound quite simlar to Uncle Boyd. What a coincidence!

Babies, Babies, Babies. We can't get enough of our twin boys. They are the center of every get together and every event. We love Noah and Miclo, they are two great blessings in our lives. Hey Shawn, where is our baby? (All grown up---that's where.)

Stevie showing off the Funk's Christmas present.

Family Nativity Story. The last time we did this IAmmon was baby jesus. TJ was a good sport to be our Joseph again. Madi was the angel of the Lord. Shazam! Stevie and Ammon were the shepherds. Isaac, Trey and Trenton were the three wise guys. TJ and Jordan and Noah made up the holy family.

Another cherrished traditon is our "Youngest to Oldest" picture. We are so grateful to have one more member of our family to place on the bottom step.

Of course Santa was very generous to all of us.

Brooke got her laptop--Santa combined it with an early graduation gift.
Taylor got a bigger, better ZUNE for all of his tunes.
Madi got her first ZUNE and she's been rocking out ever since.
Stevie-thankfully still asked for toys, LEGOS and Foam swords topped his list.

Dad got a laptop battery and Mom got a keyless remote for her van. How practical! Thanks Santa!

Our Family ROCKS!We had a great time together jamming out. The name of our rock band is: THE FERGERBUSCHES!
But without a doubt the best thing that happened this Christmas was:

Baby Noah being sealed to his family and therefore being sealed to our family...FOREVER.

That was the best Christmas Gift that any of us recieved.

Welcome to the family Noah!

Here's to a great 2009!

Our Favorite Things

2009 is going to be a great year for our family.

There are lots of big occasions to look forward to this year. Brooke will graduate, Taylor will earn his eagle and turn 16 and Madi and Stevie are just growing up before our eyes. But what I think I will cherrish most this year are the little things. "It's the little things that make life big." Here are just some of the little things that we like to do together as a family.

Family Rock Band--This is a new family favorite

Movie Night-The Ferguson Theater is always open

Monk and John and Kate Reruns--Anytime is a good time for our favorite shows.

American Idol--We never miss an episode.

"Babysitting" baby Miclo--He is the best toy around. We wish we could "babysit" baby Noah more often

Monday Night Football--Are you ready for some football. Dad and Brooke are the biggest fans.

Family Vacations--any time, anywhere ... we love to get away together. DisneyWorld in 10 is the goal!

FHE-two nights a week -Sunday and Monday, one for learning and one for playing.

Puzzles--Stevie and Uncle Greg are the best puzzelers

High-Low at the dinner table--What was the high point of the day, what was the low point?

and last but not least...

2 little that still like to read and snuggle with us in bed.
2 big kids that still like to wake us up and tell us about their crazy adventures.
